- 1. 100% 무광고 (Ad-Free): 학습 몰입을 방해하거나 유해 요소로 이어지는 제3자 광고를 일절 싣지 않습니다.
- 2. 온디바이스(On-Device) 로컬 저장: 부모님의 음성 녹음 및 사진은 회사 서버로 전송되지 않고 기기 내에만 안전하게 보관됩니다.
- 3. 부모 안심 확인 (Parental Gate): 아동의 임의 결제 및 외부 링크 이탈을 방지하기 위한 성인 인증 잠금장치를 적용합니다.
- 4. 7일 무료 체험 프로모션: 정규 구독 전 7일 동안 모든 학습 콘텐츠를 무료로 체험하실 수 있습니다.
제 1 조 (목적)
본 약관은 크로노랩(ChronoLab, 이하 "회사")이 개발 및 제공하는 모바일 애플리케이션 '매쓰고치'(이하 "앱")의 서비스 이용 및 구독과 관련하여 회사와 이용자(이하 "회원") 간의 권리, 의무 및 책임사항을 규정함을 목적으로 합니다.
제 2 조 (용어의 정의 및 서비스 주체)
- "서비스"란 회사가 앱을 통해 제공하는 아동 교육용 시계 읽기, 수학 퀴즈, 동물 파트너 육성, 부모 커스텀 음성/사진 응원 기능 및 향후 추가되는 모든 학습 콘텐츠를 의미합니다.
- "회원"이란 본 약관에 동의하고 서비스를 이용하는 법정대리인(부모 등 보호자) 및 아동을 의미합니다.
- "구독"이란 정기 결제를 통해 회사가 제공하는 모든 프리미엄 학습 콘텐츠를 제한 없이 이용할 수 있는 권한을 의미합니다.
제 3 조 (약관의 게시와 개정 및 공지 방식)
- 회사는 본 약관의 내용을 회원이 쉽게 알 수 있도록 공식 웹페이지(terms-mathgotchi.html)에 상시 게시합니다.
- 회사는 관련 법령을 위배하지 않는 범위에서 본 약관을 개정할 수 있습니다.
- (공지 방식의 구체화) 본 앱은 이용자의 개인정보 보호를 위해 회원가입 절차 및 이메일 수집을 진행하지 않는 로컬 온디바이스 서비스입니다. 이에 따라 약관이 개정될 경우, 회사는 개정 약관의 적용일자 최소 7일 전부터 공식 웹페이지(terms-mathgotchi.html)를 통해서만 개정 내용과 적용 일자를 명시적으로 고지합니다.
제 4 조 (구독 요금 및 결제)
- 구독 결제는 구매 확인 시 이용자의 Apple ID (App Store) 계정으로 청구됩니다.
- (무료 체험 프로모션) 7일 무료 체험 프로모션이 제공되는 경우, 무료 체험 기간 종료 최소 24시간 전에 취소하지 않으면 정규 월간 구독 요금이 자동으로 청구됩니다.
- (자동 갱신) 구독은 현재 구독 기간 만료 최소 24시간 전에 자동 갱신을 해제하지 않으면 동일한 가격 및 기간으로 자동 갱신됩니다.
- 결제 금액, 청구 통화 및 청구 주기는 결제 시 앱 내 화면 및 Apple App Store 결제 승인 창에 명시된 금액과 조건(해당 지역 세금 포함)에 따릅니다.
제 5 조 (구독 관리 및 해지)
회원은 언제든지 iOS 기기의 [설정] > [Apple ID 계정] > [구독] 메뉴에서 활성 구독 상태를 확인하고 언제든지 자동 갱신을 해지하거나 관리할 수 있습니다.
제 6 조 (청약철회 및 환불 정책)
- 앱 내 인앱 결제 및 구독에 대한 청약철회 및 환불은 Apple의 '미디어 서비스 이용약관' 및 환불 정책에 따릅니다.
- 회사는 Apple의 결제 시스템을 거치지 않은 임의의 직접 환불 권한을 보유하지 않으므로, 환불 요청은 Apple 지원 페이지를 통하여 진행하셔야 합니다.
제 7 조 (콘텐츠 권리 및 보호)
- 앱 내 모든 캐릭터, 시각 디자인, 사운드, 퀴즈 및 소프트웨어 소스코드의 지식재산권은 회사에 귀속됩니다.
- 회원이 직접 등록한 부모님의 음성 녹음 파일 및 사진 데이터의 권리는 회원에게 있으며, 해당 데이터는 외부 서버로 전송되지 않고 오직 회원의 기기 로컬 스토리지에만 보관됩니다.
제 8 조 (개인정보보호 및 아동 안전)
회사는 회원의 개인식별정보(PII)를 서버에 수집하지 않는 것을 원칙으로 하며, 상세 내용은 공식 [개인정보처리방침]에 따릅니다. 또한 만 14세 미만 아동 보호를 위해 부모 안심 게이트(Parental Gate)를 엄격히 운영합니다.
제 9 조 (면책 조항 및 책임 제한)
- (불가항력 및 시스템 오류) 회사는 천재지변, 기기 고장, OS 오류 등 불가항력적인 사유로 인한 서비스 일시 중단에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.
- (앱 업데이트 및 로컬 데이터 면책) 본 앱은 개인정보 보호를 위한 로컬 온디바이스(On-Device) 저장 방식으로 동작합니다. 서비스 기능 개선 및 콘텐츠 추가를 위한 앱 업데이트, 데이터베이스 구조 변경(Schema Migration), 기기 변경 또는 앱 삭제로 인한 로컬 데이터(학습 기록, 펫 성장 데이터, 부모 커스텀 음성·사진)의 소실 및 초기화에 대하여 회사의 고의 또는 중대한 과실이 없는 한 회사는 일체의 복구 책임을 부담하지 않습니다.
- (보호자의 지도·감독 및 전적인 관리 책임) 본 앱은 아동용 교육 콘텐츠로서, 아동의 이용 여부, 이용 시간, 사용 빈도 및 학습 환경에 대한 관리와 지도는 전적으로 법정대리인(보호자)의 자율적인 판단과 책임하에 이루어집니다. 보호자의 지도·감독 소홀이나 방치로 인해 발생한 과도한 기기 사용, 과몰입 등 제반 문제에 대해 회사는 일체의 책임을 지지 않습니다.
- (유료 구독 권한의 영구 보존) 제2항의 로컬 데이터 소실과 무관하게 회원의 유료 구독 자격 및 결제 내역은 Apple ID 계정에 안전하게 귀속되어, 앱 재설치 또는 업데이트 후에도 [구매 복원]을 통해 정상적으로 복구 및 유지됩니다.

- 3. Parental Gate: Strict math-based gates protect in-app purchases and external links.
- 4. 7-Day Free Trial: Explore all learning modules freely before the regular subscription begins.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern the access and use of the mobile application 'Mathgotchi' (the "App") and its related subscription services provided by ChronoLab ("Company").
2. Services & Subscriptions
- "Service" refers to interactive time-learning content, math quizzes, digital pet growth systems, parent-customized encouragement media, and all educational features provided through the App.
- "Subscription" grants unlimited, uninterrupted access to all current and upcoming educational modules during the active billing period.
3. Amendments & Notice Methods
- The Company publishes these Terms on its official web page (terms-mathgotchi.html) for easy access by Members.
- The Company may amend these Terms as permitted by relevant laws.
- As the App operates strictly on-device without user registration or email collection, any revisions to these Terms will be announced at least 7 days prior to their effective date strictly through this official web page (terms-mathgotchi.html).
4. Billing, Free Trial & Auto-Renewal
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- (Free Trial) If a 7-day free trial is offered, it will automatically renew to a paid monthly subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- (Auto-Renewal) Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Subscription prices, currencies, and billing terms are determined by the amounts displayed on the in-app purchase screen and Apple App Store confirmation sheet.
5. Subscription Management & Cancellation
You can manage or cancel your active subscription anytime in your iOS device settings via [Settings] > [Apple ID] > [Subscriptions].
6. Refund Policy
All in-app purchases, subscription cancellations, and refund requests are processed directly by Apple according to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. The Company does not hold authority to issue direct manual refunds outside of Apple's system.
7. Intellectual Property & User Data
- All software code, characters, visual designs, audio assets, and quiz curricula remain the exclusive intellectual property of ChronoLab.
- User-recorded parent voices and photos remain the property of the user and are stored strictly within the local device sandbox storage.
8. Children's Privacy & Parental Gate
The Company does not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We enforce a math-based Parental Gate to prevent young children from unauthorized purchases or external navigation.
9. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
- (Force Majeure) The Company shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, hardware failures, or operating system anomalies.
- (App Updates & Local Storage) Operating on an on-device local storage principle, the Company assumes no liability for the loss or reset of local study records, digital pet progress, or custom parent recordings resulting from app updates, database schema migrations, device changes, or app uninstallation, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
- (Parental Guidance & Discretion) The App is an educational tool intended to be used under the sole discretion, supervision, and active guidance of a parent or legal guardian. The determination of appropriate screen time, usage duration, and usage environment rests entirely with the guardian. The Company assumes no responsibility or liability for excessive screen time or unsupervised use by children.
- (Subscription Entitlements) Regardless of local data status, all active subscription entitlements remain permanently associated with your Apple ID and can be restored at any time via the [Restore Purchases] feature.
